Goodwood Industries Ltd was formed in 1973 and is located in Auckland, New Zealand.
The family business was acquired by Porta Mouldings Australia in 2004 combining 30 years of industry experience within Goodwood together with Porta's innovative marketing approach. This offers the growing New Zealand DIY hardware market an exciting and new timber merchandising programme.
The combined businesses manufacture and distribute a broad range of products primarily for the home improvement markets, building and furniture industries, plus the manufacturing sector and exports markets.
Both Goodwood and Porta are strong, long-established family enterprises with similar cultures and values, so it was a natural partnership.
Our product range covers every type of moulding you can imagine and much more. From practical dowel to panels, decorative accessories to blind slat, not forgetting architectural mouldings in different species and raw materials. These include, Radiata Pine, Treated Pine, Rimu and Tasmanian Oak.
